In this bold and hilarious twist on traditional cabaret, your favorite local performers will take the stage to sing songs they’d never be cast to perform—think showstoppers sung by an untraditional gender, age, or type, with wildly entertaining results. It’s a night that celebrates the joy of performance, the magic of theatre, and the incredible talent in our community.

This isn’t just a cabaret either – it’s a fundraiser to help replace RCT’s aging microphones. So if you buy a ticket to our Miscast Cabaret, you’re actually helping us get closer to our $5,000 fundraising goal to make new mics a reality. Supported by 4Culture and the Renton Municipal Arts Commission, Renton Civic Theatre is making a comeback in 2025 and you don’t want to miss it!
