Meet the Education Team!
Eleanor Withrow (Program Director/Lead Teacher)
Eleanor has been working in theatre education in the Seattle area for a little over a decade. She has worked as a teaching artist and director with Seattle Children’s Theatre, Stone Soup Theatre, and SingOut Seattle, Theatre of Possibility, a theatre education group dedicated to working with neuro-divergent student artists. She now works full-time as the Performing Arts Teacher for Eton School in Bellevue, teaching children ages 3-14. Eleanor is thrilled to bring theatre arts education back to RCT and continue in the mission to inspire young performers and theatre technicians.
Kristie “Kiki” Werner (Music Director)
Kiki has been a voice coach and piano teacher for 12 years, and music educator for preschool aged children for 5 years. In addition to teaching Kiki created and ran a small musical theatre camp for 4/4 School of Music 6 summers in a row and has been active in the Seattle area musical theatre scene for 10 years. Kiki is passionate about theatre being for everyone, and instilling a love of performing in children of all ages.
Lisa Stromme Warren (Assistant Teacher)
Lisa has been an actor for 5 years, working in musical theatre in Seattle and Tacoma. Theatre for youth audiences is a passion of hers. Favorite TYA roles include “Turtle” in A Year With Frog & Toad, and “Aunt Spiker” in James and the Giant Peach. She is currently attending the UW part-time with the goal of teaching high school drama. Notably, she has studied with Myra Platt, the founder of Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle, on theatre fundamentals for children.
